They are easy to kill, if one attacks you on foot, roll and then use finishing move before he gets up. Immediately place outposts overlapping the new base. Pick the best of the three available enclaves.Ħ. When you first start Breakdown, stealth is the key, Hide immediately in a bush.ģ. No way i can take em out or even get away at such a low state of equip/defenseġ. Main reason is as soon as i start a new game on the base dificulty i run into either a jug or a feral in the first 10 mins after getting a base. There was one for regular edition but not YOSE. Tip: If a mod have separate versions for Story or Breakdown & Lifeline versions combine all of them in unique new game directory containing all class3 and class3.1 files in same zip file to add and install using Nexus Mod Manager. I really hope this helps people especially with lower end hardware. This is the GPU usage after Set Timer Resolution turned ON This is the GPU usage before Set Timer Resolution turned OFF This is the CPU usage after Set Timer Resolution turned ON This is the CPU usage before Set Timer Resolution turned OFF This is State of Decay: Lifeline DLC with Set Timer Resolution turned ON - 0.488ms This is State of Decay: Lifeline DLC with Set Timer Resolution turned OFF - 7.813ms I have seen a few scenarios where the FPS actually reduced while using this trick, so do lots of experimentation and please don't expect it to work for every game. I have tested a number of my games with this tool, and even if its a CPU bound game, it doesn't mean this will work on that game. WARNING: This is not a magical framerate fixer tool and only works on some games with CPU bound issues. ![]() Have not tested Breakdown DLC but I'm sure it will work too. I tested it on the main campaign and it works just as well. I've tested State of Decay: Lifeline DLC because thats what I'm playing at the moment. Whether or not this works for you, it WILL ALWAYS force higher CPU usage, even if there is no FPS increase and in some cases can REDUCE maximum FPS. Depending on the application code, this may reduce the latency of a calculation performed, thus potentially increasing FPS. Windows has a 'timed resolve' frequency (measured in milliseconds) that will forcibly decrease the time a calculation must be performed. Overclocked CPU's may show different values, which is fine, so theres no worrying if you can't reach exactly 0.500ms, and some CPU's are even lower than that! (mine shows 0.488ms) They all do the same thing, so whoever wrote the software your using, it should not make a difference, so long as your "current resolution" is roughly 0.500 milliseconds. This is not the one I'm using but its the only one I could find at the moment. Solution: Set Timer Resolution - here's a link to 1 download website. This probably wasn't done on purpose, and is a usually a result of porting a game/lazy coding. State of Decay is definitely a CPU bound game, meaning the game code has limited the total amount of CPU scheduling performed, which means bottlenecked GPU usage = lower framerate. This solution has worked for me and I will provide as much detail and information as possible so that you may benefit from this solution. ![]()
